Very true. I was born in 1991, and grew up with the Internet coming of age with the digitalization of everything, and I often wonder about the nostalgia me and my fellow Millennials will feel toward the end of our lives remembering distinctly our relatively analogue childhood juxtaposed against the unimaginable, coming future integrations of every aspect of life into the Internet, AI, automated everything, and everything being recorded and logged. Watching Gen Z and succeeding generations, grow up existentially comfortable with essentially being broadcast live at any moment is only the start, and I can't imagine how different our society will be with another 50 years of the development of social media's proliferation into every aspect of our lives and consciousnesses.
