Thankfully they don’t wear the hats as much anymore, but there’s a ton. Fox News and right wing talk radio has really trained tens of millions of people to mentally hate Democrats so much that they’re willing to tolerate any amount of deplorable morality if an awful person talks shit on Democrats.
