Telling It Like It Is: Republicans Have A Racism Problem

Republicans have replaced dogwhistles with bullhorns on white supremacy, anti-semitism, and ethno-nationalism.

Some assorted thoughts on the pervasive racism growing like a cancer in the Republican Party, and, more specifically, its giant MAGA tumor:

I love when MAGA fans accuse Barack Obama of being more racist than Trump… ah, yes, I remember when Obama told white people to go back to Europe, and said every white judge who ruled against him didn’t count because the judge was white, and picked fights with white war widows and gold star families, and made his name doubting the citizenship of every white president before him, and ran full-page NY Times ads advocating the death penalty for falsely accused white boys.

Muslims are statistically safer neighbors to have than white neighbors. This fact doesn’t care about conservatives’ feelings. So are gay, lesbian, and trans neighbors. These groups disproportionately have violence perpetrated AGAINST them, they’re not perpetrators of violence themselves. White males born in America who post pro-Trump memes on Facebook are so much more likely to kill you than a Muslim, refugee, gay, or trans person.
