Historians Conclude That Donald Trump Is The “Nickelback Of Presidents”

A large survey of historians over thirty universities teamed up this summer to compile a rating of all the US presidents with a novel system.

The historians first compiled a sample list of 46 influential musical artists from past decades ranging the gamut from garbage music no one likes, such as the Canadian rock band Nickelback, to the genius discography of The Beatles.

The historians then selected the musical artists’ presidential comparisons, and at number 46, last place in the presidential rating, was Donald J. Trump.

“From Trump’s addiction to lying about even trivial matters, to his unprecedented record of personal scandals, to his deadly insurrection attempt, Trump’s presidency is absolutely as awful as Nickelback’s music,” explained Yale historian Paul Rylands.

A total of 114 historians participated in what is likely the most exhaustively prepared rating of presidents ever, and there was little disagreement amongst the historians that Trump earned the spot as America’s worst president.

“Trump’s disregard for our democracy’s historic expectation of peaceful transitions of power is just like Nickelback’s disregard for their fans’ expectations to not be subjected to auditory trash,” said Harvard historian Linda…
