MUSICALLY PUNK’D
A Casual Reminder That These Are The Lyrics To The Ramones’ “Now I Wanna Sniff Some Glue”
Just a friendly reminder that this song exists.
I once read a book comparing Ramones to The Beatles that claimed the Ramones were just as musically influential and revolutionary.
A similarly themed Google search shows plenty of similar sentiments from Ramones fans and music critics. Even if you personify the entire musical genre of punk rock with just the Ramones, that seems a little far-fetched.
“Now I Wanna Sniff Some Glue” is one of the Ramones’ more famous songs, allegedly written about peer pressure influencing one’s quest to find meaning in life. Maybe. You can decide for yourself if you want to believe that:
Now I want to sniff some glue
Now I want to have something to do
All the kids want to sniff some glue
All the kids want something to do
One-two-three-four
Now I want to sniff some glue
Now I want to have something to do
All the kids want to sniff some glue
All the kids want something to do
One-two-three-four-five-six-seven-eight
Now I want to sniff some glue
Now I want to have something to do
All the kids want to sniff some glue
All the kids want something to do
Now I want to sniff some glue
Now I want to have something to do
All the kids want to sniff some glue
All the kids want something to do
